Relationship Course

‘Hold me Tight’

Relationship-transforming results,
without traditional therapy

The Hold Me Tight course offers couples a safe, supportive space to reflect on what’s working in your relationship—and what needs a little more attention. It’s a chance to pause, reconnect, and work together on strengthening the bond you share.

The ‘Hold me Tight’ course

Preventative care for relationships

Hold Me Tight is designed for couples in committed relationships who want to go deeper without jumping straight into couples therapy. Think of it as preventative relationship care—an enrichment experience that helps you build resilience, understanding, and connection before challenges become crises.

I offer two formats for Hold Me Tight. Choose whichever feels most comfortable for you as a couple.

If you’re facing serious problems…

If you’re facing serious relationship problems—frequent intense conflict, betrayal, or considering separation—you’ll benefit more from couples therapy instead. Hold Me Tight works best when you’re building on a stable foundation.

How it works

Hold Me Tight is based on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a proven approach to deepening emotional connection. This interactive, instructive course delivers real, lasting change. You’ll learn to recognize the patterns that create distance in your relationship and replace them with patterns that bring you closer together.

The 7 transforming conversations

Each session focuses on one crucial aspect of a healthy, loving relationship. I’ll introduce the topic with some context and show you a video of a couple having a meaningful conversation about it. Then you and your partner will have your own transforming conversation—with me there to guide you as needed.

  • Recognizing Demon Dialogues:
Identify your negative argument patterns to get to the root of what you’re both really trying to say.
  • Finding the Raw Spots:
Learn to look beyond immediate reactions and understand which emotional vulnerabilities are being triggered.
  • Revisiting a Rocky Moment:
De-escalate conflict, repair rifts, and build emotional safety together.
  • Hold Me Tight:
The heart of the program: becoming more accessible, emotionally responsive, and deeply engaged with each other.
  • Forgiving Injuries:
Learn how to integrate past hurts into your relationship as demonstrations of renewal and connection.
  • Bonding Through Sex and Touch:
Discover how emotional connection creates great intimacy, and how intimacy deepens emotional connection.
  • Keeping Your Love Alive:
Understand that love is a continual process of connection and disconnection—and learn to be deliberate about maintaining it.

Between sessions, you’ll have focused conversations at home that help you practice and integrate what you’re learning. These aren’t tedious assignments—they’re the beginning of new, loving patterns of interaction.
